Sublimation printing or transfer printing is a technique that can be used to print images and text on materials with high polyester filaments.

The printing is done with a printer using specialized sublimation inks in transfer paper. Then, under high pressure and temperature conditions, it is transferred to the material. Sublimation prints are characterized by very vivid colors and high resistance to abrasion and UV radiation.

The transfer sublimation print uses the fact that the sublimation pigments during heating are directly passed from the solid to the gaseous state and their vapors are absorbed and blocked by the polyester fibers.

One of the biggest advantages of this technology is that it is ecological. The inks used for sublimation are solvent-free, most often produced on a water or oil basis. This printing technique is very often used in the advertising and textile industries.

The most common applications of sublimation printing include printing on all kinds of textiles, i.e. Banners, flags, roll-up, curtains, umbrellas, T-shirts, shirts, ties, overalls, sportswear, costumes), carpets and coverings in coils, curtains, tablecloths.

Printing is possible both on the rolls and on the patterns.
